Privacy policy
The Association of County and City Councils does not sell personal data. We do not rent email lists. We do not share your information with advertisers or data brokers.
Contact forms send only what you submit: your name, email, and message. That information goes to our editorial team and is used solely to reply to you.
We do not set tracking cookies for advertising. Basic technical logs may be kept briefly for security and reliability, such as IP addresses in server access logs.
These logs help us spot attacks, fix broken pages, and understand which guides are most useful. They are not used to build profiles or target ads.
If you are a member of the Association, your membership records are held separately and governed by the Association's internal data policies, not by this website.
We comply with Irish and European data protection law. If you have questions about what information we hold or want something deleted, email us through the contact page.
This site is designed to be as simple and privacy-respecting as possible. No pop-ups, no tracking scripts, no hidden data collection.
Your visit here is your business. We have no interest in monitoring it beyond keeping the lights on and the content accurate.
